The StatesmanThe Statesman was a massive, ark-like spaceship owned by the Grandmaster, and later stolen by Loki and Sakaaran rebels. It was used to escape Sakaar and carry the Asgardians away from their doomed realm.
That lovely black ship in the post credit scene of Thor Ragnarok: This large ship, called The Sanctuary, belonged to Thanos and probably houses The Black Order, a few of Thanos’s other lieutenants.
Unfortunately, most of them don’t make it out alive, thanks to Thanos and his evil minions, who were obviously there to get the Tesseract/Space Stone from Loki. However, it was confirmed by the Russos that an escape pod got away, so at least some of the Asgardians survived and went elsewhere, including Valkyrie.
We can assume that Loki flew out after dumping the tiara into the fire. And yes, he did steal the Tesseract as seen in Infinity War. In the final scenes when everyone is safely in space, you can see the smaller flyer that Loki used to fly to the castle stuck to the top of the larger ship.
Loki Went Home To Frost Giant Planet At Original End Of Thor: Ragnarok.
Valkyrie’s Winged Horse Could Have Been In New Asgard While some might refer to the winged horse as a Pegasus, that classification stems from Greek mythology. Asgard and its inhabitants are closely linked to Norse mythology, so technically, the animals are considered Valkyrie steeds.
At the end of Ragnarok, Loki is seen walking past the Tesseract while on his way to restore Surtur’s power using the Eternal Flame so that the fire demon can defeat Hela. Assuming Loki took the Tesseract, it’s quite possible he used some of its power to escape Asgard before Hela and Surtur destroyed it.
FriggaLoki/MotherFrigga is Loki’s adopted mother. In Norse Mythology Laufey was portrayed as Loki’s mother. In the MCU, Laufey is instead his father.
Still, one stood out: Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, riding in on a winged horse. It’s in keeping with her character, who was introduced in Thor: Ragnarok as the last remaining member of Asgard’s elite all-female warrior squad. However, her return to her roots in Endgame raises questions.
In Infinity War (the movie after Ragnarok) Thanos invades the ship with his minions and kills almost all of the Asgardian population. We see Hulk, Thor, Loki and Heimdall, but not Miek, Korg and Valkyrie. Later on in Endgame, we learned that somehow Korg, Miek and Valkyrie survived the attack on the spaceship.
The Casket of Ancient Winters belongs to them and it came into the possession of Odin, who stored it with his other powerful objects like the Tesseract.
The last time we saw the Tesseract, Thor was taking it to Asgard at the end of The Avengers, where he placed it in Odin’s vault for safekeeping. At the end of Ragnarok, Loki is seen walking past the Tesseract while on his way to restore Surtur’s power using the Eternal Flame so that the fire demon can defeat Hela.
In Norse mythology Loki is a cunning trickster who has the ability to change his shape and sex. Although his father is the giant Fárbauti, he is included among the Aesir (a tribe of gods). Loki is represented as the companion of the great gods Odin and Thor.
Hela Odinsdottir was the ruler of Hel, the daughter of Odin Borson, the older half-sister of Thor Odinson and the adoptive older sister of Loki Laufeyson. She was the Asgardian Goddess of Death.
