The app you’re looking for is called “Voice Memos” and can be found in a folder on your home screen called “Extras”.
Although voice memos are stored on the device’s internal memory, they copy to your PC whenever you perform a sync with iTunes. Once you sync the device with iTunes, you can use the application to find the default saving location for the audio.
