His mission was addressed to all ranks and stations of Jewish society. His message was that God’s judgment on the world was imminent and that, to prepare for this judgment, the people should repent their sins, be baptized, and produce appropriate fruits of repentance.
Mary runs to tell Peter and the Beloved Disciple this odd piece of news. Peter and the Beloved Disciple rush with her back down to the tomb. When they arrive, Peter goes inside and sees the linen cloths that had wrapped Jesus’s body lying on the ground.
Baptism is significant in that it represents the forgiveness and cleansing from sin that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism publicly acknowledges one’s confession of faith and belief in the gospel message. It also symbolizes the sinner’s entrance into the community of believers (the church).
He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head.
Why did she go to the tomb? The only answer is the simplest and the most straightforward: she loved Jesus. She wanted to be around him, even if it meant simply sitting next to his tomb. Mary’s love was real because she was liberated by love of Christ.
Baptism is an important sacrament because Jesus was baptised, and after his resurrection he told his disciples that they too should be baptised. It was John who baptised Jesus. Christians believe that baptising cleanses people from original sin and marks a person’s official entry into the Church.

Mary Magdalene and “the other Mary” were approaching Jesus’ tomb after the crucifixion, when an earthquake occurred and an angel appeared….Matthew 28:2Benjamin West’s The Angel at the Tomb of Christ.BookGospel of MatthewChristian Bible partNew Testament
the gardenerTime and again, we hear that in John’s resurrection story Mary Magdalene was confused when, “weeping outside the tomb,” she turned, saw Jesus and thought he was the gardener (John 20:11, 15). It could be that Mary was confused. It well may be, also that Mary was absolutely correct — Jesus is the gardener.
The Gospels never refer to Mary as Lilith. The creators of The Chosen probably chose this name because it is associated with demons in Jewish traditions. By noting how Mary is in the “Red Quarter”, The Chosen is implying that she is a prostitute. The Bible never suggests Mary Magdalene was a prostitute.
Baptism is the Christian spiritual rite of sprinkling water on to a person’s forehead or of immersing them in water, this act symbolises purification or renewal and admission in to the Christian Church. Baptism is a symbol of our commitment to God. Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.”
Baptism with the Holy Spirit is an empowering experience, equipping Spirit-filled believers for witness and ministry. Extending from this is the belief that all the spiritual gifts mentioned in the New Testament are to be sought and exercised to build up the church.

Mary MagdaleneMary Magdalene was a disciple of Jesus. According to the Gospel accounts, Jesus cleansed her of seven demons, and she financially aided him in Galilee. She was one of the witnesses of the Crucifixion and burial of Jesus and, famously, was the first person to see him after the Resurrection.
two angelsBut Mary is still there, and she sees two angels, and then sees Jesus, whom she does not recognize, and has a conversation with him.
Mary Magdalene as trusted disciple For its part, the Bible gave no hint that Mary Magdalene was Jesus’s wife. None of the four canonical gospels suggests that sort of relationship, even though they list the women who travel with Jesus and in some cases include their husbands’ names.
Mary Magdalene’s life after the Gospel accounts. According to Eastern tradition, she accompanied St. John the Apostle to Ephesus, where she died and was buried. French tradition spuriously claims that she evangelized Provence (southeastern France) and spent her last 30 years in an Alpine cavern.
