Why did hero Killer save Midoriya?
The reason why Stain chose to save Midoriya from the flying Nomu is because he saw as a true hero like All Might who met his own twisted expectations and requirements. When Midoriya said he wasn’t going to abandon Iida to get help, Stain saw that as the mark of a true hero, unlike the “fakes” he saw all around him.
