Will Katakuri join Luffys crew?
He will probably show up in Wano or some later arc to fight Kaido or Weevil,but that is it. At best,he will be a member of Luffy’s allience later down the story,but not a member of his crew.
Does Luffy become friends with Katakuri?
Luffy is the only person Katakuri has ever viewed as an equal. He doesn’t “like” Luffy, persay, he still sees Luffy as an enemy, and Luffy isn’t exactly going to call him a friend, but they have a mutual respect for each other as warriors.

In terms of Devil Fruit power, Sabo would have the advantage. While Sabo can’t predict the future in a fight like how Katakuri, Sabo does have a really strong Armanent Haki as compare to Katakuri. So we can see that Katakuri is strong in Observational Haki, while Sabo is strong in the Armanent Haki.
Can Marco beat Katakuri?
Katakuri wouldn’t be able to beat Marco. He at best scales to The Gear 4th Luffy in Kuri Town (which I’ve explained in my Zoro vs Katakuri answer). This Luffy can’t even hurt Base Kaido with his attacks whatsoever and he gets speed blitzed and one shotted.
